Congratulations Stephanie Krystopowicz-Demagsitris on being selected as July’s Volunteer Spotlight!

Stephanie is married to her hubby Evan and has two beautiful children, Emily 4 and Oliver 2.  She also has two cats, Lucy and Luke.  Stephanie is a stay-at-home mom; she has her associates in paralegal studies and going for her BBA. Stephanie has been a volunteer with Regional for six months!

What you might not know about Stephanie is she is terrified of horses!

Stephanie decided to volunteer at Regional because she loves helping and knowing that she is making a difference. (You sure are Stephanie, thank you!)

We asked Stephanie what is her funniest or best memory of being a volunteer? She said, “The first time I met Tommy he came up to me and peed right on my shoe!”

We also asked Stephanie what is the best part about being a volunteer with Regional? “The other volunteers are just as passionate (if not more) than you are. Everyone really cares about the work and the dogs that come in.”

If someone was thinking about volunteering, Stephanie would tell them “Just do it. It’s worth the time and it’s fun, even the messy stuff!”

Thank you, Stephanie, for your hard work and dedication to Regional and the animals!

You need to meet

Because they’re awesome (we’re only a little biased).

Meet all of our adoptable animals here.
