518.725.5956 (shelter)    518.736.2100 (report abuse/found animals: 24 hours)

We'd love to hear from you!

You can contact the shelter at 518.725.5956 – if nobody is available to take your call, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. There is a volunteer on site from 7-9 am and 4-6 pm daily. We are unable to take surrenders of dogs or cats at this time due to space restrictions  but we have a waiting list as space becomes available at the shelter or with a foster.

We also do not have a vet on premises and we do not provide veterinary services. If your pet needs medical attention, please refer to the list of vets here or the emergency clinics found here. A list of local spay/neuter clinics can be found here.

If you have found a dog in Fulton County, please call 518.736.2100!

Regional cannot seize dogs, and all found dogs must enter the shelter though the police department!

If you need to report animal abuse, document and call 518.736.2100! (Repeat as needed!)
We are legally unable to investigate or seize animals at this time!

You can also send us an email or use the form below to leave us a message. If you submitted an adoption application, you can contact us via the instructions on your application or on the adoption page. Please note it can take up to two weeks for an application to be processed.
